Lucida Condo Gets Glass

This picture from my morning commute showing that the Lucida condo has begun glassing up the outside. Like the foundation and the thickness of the floors, the windows too look quite solid. The LEED-certified building was over 85% sold as of a couple of weeks ago.

  1. The Developer (Extell) and the Construction Manager (Bovis) are building another magnificent residential address in a booming neighborhood. Extell does not spare the details when it comes to providing the finest product in a very competitive market. This building will be attractive and a fine addition to the upper east side.

  2. Say what? Those large pieces of glass have no human scale, and they're assembled with no human craft. You can already see the concrete frame was more interesting to look at then the finished building ever will be.

  6. You have to wait for the finished product. Don't pass judgement on unfinished work. Both buildings will be fine additions to their respective neighbordoods and eyepleasers for those of us who appreciate NYC High-Rise Residential Architecture.

  10. This is very interesting information. It actually sounds like something from a science fiction novel or movie. I guess that is only fitting since the Most High is all science and we are made in His image and likeness.
