They did not segregate the Boardy masses into their own trains. On the one hand, distributing the drunken nonsense across the whole train may have reduced its severity in any one spot. On the other hand, dealing with any amount of persistent, loud drunken belligerence; befouled train bathrooms; tottering girls falling into our bikes; etc., etc.; was not what I wanted to deal with at that point in my day. All I wanted to do was chat with my friends, leisurely drink a couple of bottles of the Bluepoint lager we bought at the convenience store in Montauk (oh, the irony!), and do crossword puzzles.<br /><br />What's this "barely of legal drinking age" thing you're saying, by the way?
