Green Roofs Finally Get Some Green

The state legislature has approved a bill that will give tax credits of $4.50 per square foot of "green" roof space. Green roofing usually runs about $15-$20 per square foot, so the break is a big step in the right direction. Green roofs reduce the need for air conditioning by 10-20%, so residents and businesses that implement them see reduced utility bills right off the bat. The green roofs also reduce carbon monoxide, produce oxygen, and look a hell of a lot better than tar!

  2. Well, what can I said? maybe the green space would be a better solution, I mean it's a good idea, according with the post, the green roofs can reduce the need for air conditioning by 10-20% and that sounds amazing. I hope we can have some "green politics" soon. Generic Viagra people has been thinking about it.

  3. I just can't believe it, I think we need more initiatives like this one to improve the city, specially in we live in New York! It'd be an excellent idea and i will be able to learn about this further activity. 23jj
