Union Square Park Gets Equipped

Good progress is happening at Union Square Park. The ongoing construction which has progressed with the precision of a Swiss watch. If only all construction projects could only manage to be so punctual! After finishing off all of the paving of the North and West Plazas, installing the Bishop's Crook lamp posts, and moving the Farmer's Market back to its original home, work has begun in earnest on the long awaited Playground. The proof is in the pics- actual playground equipment is being installed! Looks like a jumbo climbing thing and future swing set thus far. More playground equipment is on site and the 2 sided bathroom is also progressing nicely. The final product will triple the size of the former play space which makes this father of two, almost three quite happy!
